FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) - LASH EXTENSIONS

What are lash extensions?
Lash extensions are a way to add thickness and length to lashes that aren’t as lush, dark or long as you currently want them to be. We apply false lashes - one at a time, for the most natural look – to your lash line using an adhesive that is safe for the eye area.

What's the treatment like?
The process is easy and quite relaxing too! People often fall asleep during the application. You will lie down and relax on one of our luxurious treatment tables in a private room while your esthetician applies your lash extensions. In very rare cases, negative reactions to the materials used can occur. If you experience any burning, pain or discomfort, please let us know right away!

How do I prepare for my new lashes?
Be sure to not wear any makeup, moisturizers, eye creams or contacts to your lash appointment. You may also want to shower right before your appointment as it is advised not to shower for the first 24 hours after getting lash extentions.

How often do I need to get lash fills?
We all lose approximately 1-5 eyelashes every day. Since each synthetic lash is glued to your natural lash, they will also fall out with that lash. In order to keep the full look of your lashes, it is recommended to get your lashes refilled every 2-3 weeks. If you wait longer than 3 weeks, it may take longer and cost more to refill.

How do I keep my lashes looking great?
• For the first 24 hours, do not get your lashes or face wet.  This means no working out, steam rooms, face-washing or facials! If you absolutely must shower, be careful to not get your face wet.

• Avoid all oil-based cleansers, lotions, and eye makeup removers while wearing your extensions. They will break down the glue, which may result in a rapid loss of lashes.

• Please don’t rub or tug at your lashes!
